About Fraternal Order of Police District 7, Inc.

The Fraternal Order of Police District 7, Inc. is Florida Not-For-Profit organization formed and authorized by the Florida State Lodge for the purpose of providing mid-level management of the FOP Lodges operating within the Central Florida region; commonly known as District 7, and coordinate community outreach activities within Central Florida. The F.O.P. Lodges operating in the following counties: Brevard, Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia counties are overseen by the Board of Directors for District 7.

Mission

To support and defend the Constitution of the United States, and the State of Florida, to inculcate loyalty and allegiance to the United States of America; to promote and foster the impartial enforcement of law and order, to improve the individual proficiency of our members in the performance of their duties, to encourage social, charitable, educational activities among all law enforcement officers, to advocate and strive for uniform application of the Civil Service and merit system for all law enforcement officers, to create a tradition of esprit de corps insuring fidelity to duty under all conditions and circumstances, to cultivate a spirit of fraternalism and mutual helpfulness among our membership and the people we serve; to increase the efficiency of the police profession and thus more firmly establish the confidence of the public in the service that is dedicated to the protection of life and property.

Solicitation for Contributions

The Fraternal Order of Police District 7, Inc. is authorized by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture to solicit contributions from  businesses in Florida.  We contract with an authorized professional solicitation company to make contact with our existing and potential supporters of law enforcement and law enforcement/crime prevention programs.

Currently, the Fraternal Order of Police District 7, Inc. utilizes a professional solicitor and contracts with Public Awareness USA, Inc.​.  The current “Say No To Drugs” campaign is underway.
